War Robots Game Review

War Robots is an action game developed by PIXONIC. The game was published for iOS devices in April 2014 and for Android devices in August 2015.

The war among robots has begun. Battle against other war robots, win and occupy their lands with your people. In War Robots you battle against other robots with a group of 5 players. Each of your will have your own robot or robots to go to battle with.

Initially you will be able to use the only robot given to you. Once you have obtained your robot you can go to battle immediately. You will placed at random in a group with other online players. Once the game begins, your objectives will be to destroy enemy robots and conquer war beacons. You will be given 10 minutes for the battle.

You can conquer war beacons while there is still an active enemy robot. Initially each war beacon will be in neutral state emitting white light. It will have border circle drawn at a distance from it. To conquer a war beacon, you must enter into the border line and be within the line for a few seconds. The beacon will emit blue light once it has been conquered by you or somebody else from your team. When a beacon emits red light, that means the enemy team has been conquered. Do not worry about it. You can still reach that beacon and conquer it back. A colored war beacon will take more time to conquer than a neutral one.

One you win a battle you will be rewarded with XPs, gold bars, silver bars and special crates. You will receive points for the damage dealt, number of kills, beacons captured and honor points. These points will add up and upgrade you the next level.

With enough gold and silver bars, you can purchase slots to buy more robots, upgrade robots and buy or upgrade new weapons. When you have more than one robot, you must select one at the beginning of the battle to use it. Once it is destroyed by the enemies, it can be replaced with one of your remaining robots. So having more than one robot will help you to stay in the battle much longer.
